This might be the last year I can choose the costumes the boys wear for Halloween. Every time Soren sees this picture, he still says, "I hate that costume"
Soren and I went to Bedford by ourselves for one weekend of the Fall Foliage Festival while Rick and Will stayed in Columbus so Will could compete in Piano Scale Olympics
We enjoyed the Antique Car Parade, especially the appearance of my Uncle Ronny in his famous El Camino
And Soren rode a pony, his favorite Fall Foliage activity
Halloween festivities started with a Halloween party at the golf club. It was rainy and wet so the party stayed inside, but William the Ring Master and Soren the Circus Elephant didn't seem to mind, especially since there was no shortage of candy!
It was one of those afternoons when we were trying to herd the boys into the car and there was lots of whining and lots of complaining (and a little bit of yelling) and fighting and shouting in the back seat all the way there, but as soon as we turned into the parking lot Will said, "This is Pigeon Roost! I love Pigeon Roost!".
The rest of the evening was spent running and playing, climbing and swinging, sliding and selecting the perfect pumpkins.
