Baller

Soren played basketball on the Little Rams team at school this year.  He loved it!

At the last game he scored 2 baskets!

And somehow I got talked into wearing the Ruckus Ram mascot costume.

I think I did a pretty good job.  But I couldn't fool Soren.  He said to Ruckus, "Hey! You have the same shoes as my mom."

Blogger Catch Up- Soccer

Soren played soccer in the spring.

Here's an action shot of him looking like a little soccer stud.

Golf Outing

At the end of September we did something new: played in a charity golf tournament.  Our friends Juli-Anne and Jim made up the other half of our foursome and we spent a lovely day on the links.

Juli-Anne's bakery sponsored a hole

Somewhere around the 9th hole, we agreed to do this more often.  Maybe someday.  When we live in the land of less busy people.

The Last 5K in the World

End of 2012/Beginning of 2013 Catch Up

My friend Juli-Anne told me earlier in the year that she had never run longer than a mile and she would really like to run a 5K.  We ran together this summer with the goal of running in the Night Moves Fun Run in September.  Unfortunately, that Fun Run was the same weekend as an anesthesia meeting I planned to go to.

Then I saw an advertisement for The End Of The World Fun Run.  If the Mayan calendar was correct and the world ended on December 20, 2012 this was going to be the last 5K in the world.  So of course we had to do it.

And we did.

This is us at the Finish Line with the official mascot of the End of the World.

Get Rowdy!

End of 2012/Beginning of 2013 Catch Up

Will played basketball on the St. Mary Little Lambs Future Rams Team

and got to hang out with the mascot Ruckus

I used to think that watching little kids play soccer was my favorite thing, now I'm pretty sure it's watching little kids play basketball. Hilarious!
